Products that are Awaiting Stock are items that we would normally carry on stock at our Oxfordshire warehouse, but are currently unavailable. Chances are there is already more on the way, but if you would like a more accurate availability status please feel free to Contact Us.
Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.
Anyone who has used the conventional brush-type record cleaner knows how awkward they are to use and that they have only a limited ability. The Spin Clean Record Washer System addresses the issue in a completely different way, enabling users to clean both sides of their records at once, without using the turntable as a cleaning platform. With a Spin Clean record washing system, you're able to help preserve your precious turntable, stylus, and of course your record collection.
Spin Clean Record Washer System's secret weapon is its special washer fluid. This unique formula encapsulates the dirt that comes off the record and sinks it to the bottom of the washer basin so it is not re-deposited back on to your records during the cleaning process. To show this, the basin of the system is bright yellow so you can see the removed dirt accumulate at the bottom of the unit.
Spin Clean's fluid is also alcohol-free, which makes it perfect for use with older Shellac records - as well as modern vinyl.
When using a traditional cleaning brush, how can you tell that you're pushing hard enough or if you have enough liquid on your brush? Is it even removing smudges and fingerprints? With Spin Clean record washing systems, it's easy as one, two, three: Fill it – Spin it – Dry it.
You never have to adjust the brushes (they're pre-set at the right pressure). After three turns in the Spin Clean Record Washer System, the dirt and the fingerprints are gone from both sides of the record, along with the static.
Spin Clean Record Washer System looks and feels right. It's inconspicuous in size and it has no power requirements, but best of all there's absolutely no installation required, making it a very flexible and attractive package. Each system comes with a 4oz. bottle of the washer fluid (which is enough to clean up to 700 records), two washable and re-useable drying cloths, one pair of brushes, one pair of rollers and the owner’s manual.
Proudly manufactured and hand-assembled in Pittsburgh, PA, since 1975. By combining with one of the world's foremost turntable manufacturers in Pro-Ject Audio Systems, Spin Clean products are now available around the world through Pro-Ject's distribution network.
Hi-Fi Pig Review the Spin Clean Record Washing System
"Well it's a nifty little device that is inexpensive and is designed to remove all that crud from your LPs using a specially formulated cleaning solution..." "After a few LPs were done I looked into the bath and sure enough, the water was slightly dis-coloured and a little muck had appeared at the bottom. After 10 LPs there was an alarming amount of dirt and fluff in the base of the bath!" "Well it was beyond dispute that the Spin Clean effectively removes dirt and fluff you'd not normally see on an LP surface..."
Spin Clean Review
"The clever feature, which we really liked, is that disc immersion depth is set by a pair of rollers, which can be put in position to cater to 12-inch, 10-inch or 7-inch discs - this saves the bother of fitting a centre spindle and clamp."
Spin Clean Review
"Does a fantastic job and it's amazing to see the dirt collected, even with apparently clean records."
Spin Clean Review
"The Spin Clean is an effective remover of bacon-frying noises. The pops and crackles that plague 'VG' ['Very Good'] eBay albums are generally reduced..." "A sure sign of its effectiveness is the sheer amount of dark grey gak that lines the bottom of the yellow bath after working on just a few 'clean-ish' albums; if all that smoky residue was on the disc, no wonder it sounded like the musicians were standing round a bonfire."
Spin Clean Washer System Review
"A true original, the Spin Clean takes things back to first principles and is powered by pure elbow grease."
Henley Says...
The Spin Clean system is incredibly easy, and quick, to use. Just a couple of rotations with the system and the combination of cleaning fluid, brushes and drying cloth have your vinyl looking much cleaner and ready to be enjoyed again. The yellow finish to the unit is useful in particular as it shows exactly how much dirt has come off of your record - you'll be surprised!
