This product is no longer available to order and will not be coming back into stock.
In Stock products are those that are currently held in stock at our Oxfordshire warehouse. This stock status is updated regularly but is subject to change at very short notice.
Products that are Awaiting Stock are items that we would normally carry on stock at our Oxfordshire warehouse, but are currently unavailable. Chances are there is already more on the way, but if you would like a more accurate availability status please feel free to Contact Us.
Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.
Sound Matters Review The Pro-Ject Audio X1
"The sound is natural and dynamic, and the design is beautiful in its minimalism."
Stereonet review the Pro-Ject Audio X1
"The deck’s combination of sound quality, flexibility and ease of set-up and use is hard to beat."
Hi-Fi World review the Pro-ject Audio X1
"Pro-Ject’s X1 turntable package was a mixed bag. The plinth, platter and motor drive were superb. The fitted arm less impressive. The cartridge has an upfront presentation that is not vinyl-like but may appeal to those who want a sound close to that of CD."
HI-Fi Choice Review the Pro-Ject Audio X1
"A simple but rewardingly complete and talented turntable"
Hi-Fi News review the Pro-ject Audio X1

"he X1 is very much the master, rather than struggling to keep up the paces."
Yes, it is possible for this turntable to be upgraded with a true balanced connection to a supporting Pro-Ject phono stage.*

For turntables with a MiniXLR output, you can run a MiniXLR > MiniXLR or MiniXLR > XLR cable, depending on the phono stage you are connecting to.
