Linear II
Everything which made the Linear headphone amplifier a legend since 2004, has now become even better: the Linear II lifts the qualities of our reference model to a new standard.

Experience detailed lucidity when playing your music, effortless lightness even with high signal levels and the low-artefact reproduction of complex music pieces. The Linear II redefines vividness in the reproduction completely. That way you can enjoy even the longest listening sessions without fatigue and with greatest pleasure.

Powerful, spirited, sovereign.

In connection with the elaborately designed pc board in Low-Z copper technology the powerful class-A output stage plays even more dynamically and takes you a big step closer to the music. Mundorf capacitors in the power supply and in the signal path, deliver an impressive room imaging and transient response. 3S device feet ensure maximum mechanical quietness for the Linear II.

Not only while enjoying music with one or two headphones, but also when connected to active speakers or a power amplifier, the Linear II delivers its ultimate performance. Allow yourself to be surprised by a punchy, authentic sound which is unique for a device of this size!

Linear D II
Everything which made the Linear headphone amplifier a legend since 2004, has now become even better: the Linear II lifts the qualities of our reference model to a new standard.

Since Lehmannaudio turned the “emergency exit” of classic hi-fi amplifiers into a gate to a new musical perception with their Linear back in 2004, headphone outputs with frustrating sound have become a thing of the past. The Linear D in its topical mkII version demonstrates that there’s always room for improvement: its digital-analogue converter of the latest generation and its thoroughly revised analogue board let you experience all-new horizons when listening to your favourite music – goose bumps guaranteed.

The Linear D II is a high-end headphone amplifier and streaming pre-amplifier for users who also want to get the best sound from their digital audio sources.

What makes the Linear D II so special is its totally revised analogue circuitry. Featuring a discrete Class A output stage, for an open and natural sound, high-grade Low-Z Copper technology across the PCB circuitry and specially selected components – like the oversized internal power supply and low-loss MKP precision capacitors – the new model delivers physical, punchy lows and startling resolution in an open and natural soundstage over the entire frequency bandwidth, allowing your headphones to fulfil their highest potential.

For easy system matching, the Linear D II features three Gain settings up-to 20dB and also benefits from two Neutrik headphone sockets with gold-plated contacts, which can be used simultaneously. The Left headphone output mutes the rear line-level RCA output when a headphone is connected. There is also an additional analogue RCA input for connecting more traditional line-level sources, but its main appeal is in the high-resolution digital audio inputs.

Linear D II guarantees the highest performance from your existing digital sources. With Optical (Toslink) and Coaxial (RCA 75?) inputs, it automatically detects the playing audio (Optical input is prioritised) and converts the raw digital data using a sophisticated ESS Sabre K2M DAC chip.

The Linear D II also functions very well as a streaming pre-amplifier for a full hi-fi system (when Gain is set to 0dB, and no headphone is connected). With the auto-input detection and sophisticated internal layout, it offers a simple-yet-high-end solution that can easily drive long cables toward a power amplifier or active speakers.

The Linear D II is truly a reference class pre-amplifier for all dynamic headphones. Utilising a sturdy metal housing with SSC damping feet, for effective decoupling from environmental factors, the aluminium faceplate is available in Black, Silver or Chrome finishes.

Linear USB II
Everything which made the Linear headphone amplifier a legend since 2004, has now become even better: the Linear II lifts the qualities of our reference model to a new standard.

Since 2004 the Linear has thrilled all music lovers who expect their hi-fi amplifiers to perform at their best also with headphones. Can this success story still be surpassed? Yes, it can – and how!

The Linear USB II comes up with a digital-analogue converter of the latest generation and a fully revised analogue board using the high-grade Low-Z Copper technology. Physical, punchy lows and a filigree resolution over the entire frequency bandwidth: you will never again consider your headphones just as a makeshift solution.

The Linear USB II is a high-end headphone amplifier and streaming pre-amplifier for users who also want to play high-resolution audio files from a PC or Laptop.

The Linear USB II automatically detects any incoming USB audio data stream, without the need for an input selector switch. The technology employed utilises an ESS Sabre K2M DAC chip, capable of 32-bit / 384kHz playback and DSD support (DoP) for playback of very high-resolution digital audio files.

Even the biggest Lehmann headphone amp has a very small footprint, and the more compact ones are just impressively tiny, given the high-quality sound that they can create. These bits of kit really raise the bar in sound performance and reliability, sitting at home as part of bigger systems or as desktop units where they 'just work'. No muss, no fuss - immerse yourself in a bubble of your music at the push of a button.
