Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.
Originally designed for professional use, the Klipsch La Scala has proven itself as an outstanding choice for the audiophile as well and is even now known as the "mini-Klipschorn". The La Scala brings the most subtle musical details to life, always delivering the legendary Klipsch sound with clarity and ease. On a single watt, it generates 105 decibels of sound pressure, which means that the La Scala will delight the listener even while using the most modest amplifier power.
The La Scala features a neodymium tweeter with a 1” polyimide diaphragm and copper clad aluminium voice coil. This lightweight diaphragm assembly and high strength magnet structure creates the tweeter’s high 105dB sensitivity and makes it the most efficient consumer tweeter in the market. When coupled to a 90°x40° Tractrix horn, the tweeter sets new levels of performance for dynamic range and output.
According to Paul W. Klipsch, “the midrange is where we live” and is one of the most critical parts in any loudspeaker design. The La Scala’s midrange utilises a 2” compression driver mated to a high efficiency exponential horn that maximises the system’s power and performance. As a result, less distortion is produced by the amplifier and the loudspeaker. That means clarity, accuracy and remarkable tonal definition.
The 15" Woofer is coupled to a bi-fold horn, allowing for full-spectrum audio delivery that ensures a rich, dynamic sound performance from the listening position.
The strong, versatile and quality binding posts provide the capability for bi-wiring or bi-amping, while Audioquest Type 4 with Star-Quad Geometry internal wiring featuring carbon-loaded insulation, nitrogen-injected PE and solid long-grain copper conductors is used inside. These features together ensure the purest signal transfer from input, to crossover network, to drivers.
Klipsch has always recognised the unique and critical role of a loudspeaker’s cabinet in the sound reproduction process. From the craftsmen in Hope, AR, to the engineers in Indianapolis, IN, Klipsch have always put an extraordinary emphasis on cabinet design.
Every pair of Heritage series loudspeakers is also grain-matched, using wood veneer panels that come from the same timber. The speakers then move seamlessly together through the factory, and each finished product is inspected and labelled with sequential serial numbers for perfectly matched pairs.

Henley Says...
The Klipsch Heritage range represent everything PWK aimed to achieve with his loudspeaker creations - unparalleled quality, akin to a live performance, in a meticulously crafted cabinet with a timelessly elegant aesthetic.
The La Scala are my absolute favourite Klipsch speaker. They may be called the mini-Klipschorn but in our space they fill it beautifully. I love the look of the lower horn and the whole aesthetic suits me perfectly. I’ve had a lot of fun driving these with all types of amplification, but using a good turntable source and one of our Synthesis Action amplifiers definitely takes me to my happy place! I thoroughly recommend listening to them if you can. Only advice is to have two sets of hands when setting them up, as they require some assembly.
