Products that are Awaiting Stock are items that we would normally carry on stock at our Oxfordshire warehouse, but are currently unavailable. Chances are there is already more on the way, but if you would like a more accurate availability status please feel free to Contact Us.
Urgent order items are products that we do not normally carry on stock, but they are typically held on stock by our European suppliers. Depending on availability, we will seek to order these products quickly, when we have an enquiry. They can therefore be subject to quicker availability times than "Special Order" products.
Special Order items are those that are most often built to order. For these items, we tend to experience longer lead times as we negotiate them into the production line with our suppliers.
The Forte IV hosts a three-way design utilising a 12” woofer and horn-loaded midrange and tweeter. The Forte IV incorporates an all new K-702 midrange compression driver, featuring a polyimide diaphragm for exceptional detail and dynamics. The K-702 midrange is mated to a modified Tractrix horn — featuring Klipsch's patented Mumps technology for even polar response of mid frequencies, giving you more consistent sound throughout the listening area. The titanium diaphragm high-frequency driver has an all-new wide dispersion phase plug for providing exceptionally even high-frequency dispersion for a wider, more accurate sweet spot.
The Forte IV’s well-extended bass is found in the use of a rear-mounted passive radiator. A mammoth 15” (38 cm) in size, this sub-bass radiator operates on acoustic pressure generated by the active woofer for greater bass output and extension.
The Forte IV has also been completely re-voiced from its predecessor, utilising premium componentry in an all-new high-fidelity network — minimising electrical degradation throughout the circuitry — for truer to life sound with best in class efficiency and power handling. The new network draws from the classic three-way steep slope design of the legendary Klipschorn, La Scala and Cornwall speakers.
Klipsch has always recognised the unique and critical role of a loudspeaker’s cabinet in the sound reproduction process. From the craftsmen in Hope, AR, to the engineers in Indianapolis, IN, Klipsch have always put an extraordinary emphasis on cabinet design.
Every pair of Heritage series loudspeakers is also grain-matched, using wood veneer panels that come from the same timber. The speakers then move seamlessly together through the factory, and each finished product is inspected and labelled with sequential serial numbers for perfectly matched pairs.

Henley Says...
The Klipsch Heritage range represents everything PWK aimed to achieve with his loudspeaker creations - unparalleled quality, akin to a live performance, in a meticulously crafted cabinet with a timelessly elegant aesthetic.
Both the Heresy and Forte are keen favourites of mine due to their ability to perform superbly with a wide variety of genres and a multitude of set-ups, and being able to deliver sound that is true to the PWK ideology without imposing too much of their size on their environment. The high-sensitivity rating these speakers possess means that your amplifiers have to do significantly less work to reach higher volumes and performance, and thanks to the horn-loaded tweeters you are provided with a wide soundstage that gives you a concert-like listening experience.
The Klipsch Forte has become my own choice of speaker within my home system, and both its immersive presentation and luxurious wooden finish always leave my guests speechless.
